Apple for business questions
Can a business buy Apple products through Supplyd?
Yes. We supply the Mac line-up, iPhone, iPad and Apple accessories to businesses as a registered Apple reseller through Core Group, Apple's distributor in South Africa since 1995. Business supply is quote-based. You tell us the specification and volume, and we come back with a fixed itemised quote.
Do you sell Apple products to consumers?
No. Apple supply through Supplyd is aimed at businesses and is quoted per order and is not listed for retail checkout. Consumers looking for in-stock retail items can use our store, but Apple is not part of that catalogue.
Where can a business buy MacBooks in South Africa?
Through a registered Apple reseller such as Supplyd. We are based in Randburg, Gauteng and deliver nationwide. Buying through a reseller means genuine South African stock with a local warranty, a proper business quote, and one company accountable for both the hardware and the support.
Is there a minimum order?
No fixed minimum. A single MacBook for a new starter and a fifty-seat fleet refresh both make sense, and both are quoted the same way.
How quickly do you turn a specification into a quote?
Usually within one working day of having the roles, the software those people run, and the volumes involved. The quote is itemised and fixed, and nothing is ordered until you approve it.
Will the Macs arrive ready to use?
If you want them to. Setup and configuration is available as part of the order. Machines arrive configured, named and ready to log into, and we hand them over to the people who will use them. If you would rather receive them sealed, that is fine too.
Does Apple hardware bought through you carry a local warranty?
Yes. We supply genuine South African stock, so the hardware carries a local warranty. We log and manage warranty claims for you.
Can you support the Apple devices after we buy them?
Yes. That is the main reason to buy through a reseller instead of a box-mover. The same team that specifies and supplies the hardware supports it afterwards, alongside the rest of your IT.
Do you publish Apple pricing?
No. Apple pricing moves with configuration, availability and volume, and every order is quoted for its own specification. Send us the spec and you get a fixed quote that holds for the period stated on it.
What do you not offer for Apple?
The limits: we do not run Apple Business Manager or automated device-enrolment programmes, we do not offer accidental-damage cover or trade-in, and we do not sell Apple to consumers. If you need one of those, we will tell you.
